Glass Skin Goals? Meet Your Morning Upgrade

Glass skin is the fall beauty goal: a complexion that looks smooth, plump and luminous. Pique’s Carrara Marine Collagen makes supporting that glow a delicious part of your morning routine.

After 90 days on Carrara, 83% reported smoother skin, 80% reported plumper skin and 86% reported greater skin satisfaction.

Each serving combines Type I marine collagen to support skin radiance with rare Type II collagen, sourced from wild Hokkaido salmon, to support elasticity. Together, they bring skin support into a daily ritual that feels like a treat.

Two scoops blend into morning matcha for a creamy latte, making consistency easy as fall schedules fill up. A warm cup, a quiet moment and nourishment from within become part of the same routine.

For anyone pursuing that luminous glass-skin look through sweater season, Carrara adds a beauty upgrade to a habit they already love.

Tor Hill Park Opens in Carrollton on Lewisville ISD Land Next to Hebron High

A $2.9 million park built through a lease partnership with the district brings a playground, trail and event lawn to the Plano Parkway corridor.

Carrollton scheduled the opening and a 10 AM ribbon cutting for Tor Hill Park on Saturday, October 17. The park sits at Plano Parkway and Warmington Drive, next to Hebron High School, on roughly five acres of Lewisville ISD-owned land that the city developed under a lease agreement with the district.

The park includes playground space, a concrete walking trail, an event lawn and open areas for team and group activities. A pavilion is planned for a later phase. Its parking lot, which opened in 2025, also serves as supplemental seasonal parking for Hebron High School. Contact Carrollton Parks and Recreation for hours and programming. Carrollton is a short drive from Lewisville, and LISD Superintendent Dr. Lori Rapp was among the officials scheduled to speak at the ribbon cutting.

Hebron Graduate Elena Barnes Now Teaches Media and Robotics at Arbor Creek Middle School

A broadcast journalism major found her calling after substitute teaching in the district she grew up in.

Lewisville ISD's latest Alumni Spotlight features Elena Barnes, a 2018 Hebron High School graduate who was active in spirit squad, student broadcast and softball. She studied mass communication at Stephen F. Austin State University, where she worked with ESPN and with the promotions team for the Dallas Stars.

After graduating, Barnes came back to the district and picked up substitute teaching shifts at Hebron 9 while she applied for other jobs. That experience changed her plans. She now teaches full time at Arbor Creek Middle School in her fourth year, leading classes in college and career exploration, audio and video production, engineering and robotics, and yearbook. Her goal is to give students the chance to create and tell their own stories, much like her own teachers did for her.

🕰️ Trivia Day in Lewisville

Building Lewisville Dam turned up a campsite roughly 12,000 years old. Crews unearthed aboriginal artifacts in 1950 while working on the dam, and archeologists excavated the site from 1952 to 1957 before the reservoir covered it. They found 21 hearths, animal bone fragments and lignite used as fuel. Radiocarbon dating put the material at about 12,000 years old, similar in age and content to the Clovis site in New Mexico.
