🦋 Audrey’s Butterfly Garden and Little Library Ribbon Cutting

Audrey’s Butterfly Effect is a North Texas 501(c)(3) nonprofit created in loving memory of Audrey Quezada, honoring her kindness, joyful spirit, and love of books. The organization works to empower exceptional students, celebrate special education educators and paraprofessionals, and expand inclusive resources across the community.
This ribbon cutting marks the Butterfly Garden and Little Library’s move to their new home at the Frederick P. Herring Parks & Recreation Center, and it’s as much a celebration of Audrey’s legacy as it is of the community that keeps it growing. Guests are invited to bring a children’s book to donate and help stock the Little Library. If you’re not able to bring a book, Amazon gift cards are also appreciated and will go toward purchasing books for the library.

Why Your Moisturizer Stops Working
If your moisturizer isn’t working quite like it used to, you’re not alone. As we age, our skin shifts below the surface—losing the collagen, elastin, hyaluronic acid, and barrier integrity it needs to stay hydrated and firm. This leads to thinner, weaker skin that struggles to retain moisture, no matter how many “hydrating” creams you apply.
But OneSkin’s new OS-01 FACE RICH CREAM is built differently. While most moisturizers sit on the skin’s surface and wash off at the end of the day, OS-01 FACE RICH CREAM works at the cellular level to actually rebuild the density that allows skin to hold onto moisture. It’s powered by a Dual-Phase Hydration System, combining potent bioactive humectants with OneSkin’s age-reversing OS-01 Peptide™ to promote healthier collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid production, and fortify the skin barrier. The results: deep, lasting hydration and progressive visible firmness—for resilient skin that keeps up with you.

Lewisville High Clinches Its First District Title Since 2021

The Fighting Farmers are 9-0 after a 58-14 win over Denton Braswell.
Lewisville beat Denton Braswell 58-14 on Friday, October 30, at Max Goldsmith Stadium to improve to 9-0 overall and 6-0 in District 5-6A. The win locked up the district championship, the school's first since 2021, and the top seed for the first round of the playoffs.
Quarterback Laykon Brassfield was the story of the night. He completed 21 of 34 passes for 356 yards and eight touchdowns, four of them in the first quarter.

Wetzel's Pretzels and sweetFrog Open a Combo Store in Flower Mound

The co-branded shop is now open near FM 1171 and River Walk Drive.
A combined Wetzel's Pretzels and sweetFrog Frozen Yogurt store opened toward the end of October in Flower Mound, near the corner of FM 1171 and River Walk Drive, according to the Cross Timbers Gazette.
Dave and Diana Stone, a local couple, own and operate the new store. The two brands had a Flower Mound location across the street at 3871 Long Prairie Road until it closed in 2015, so this marks a return to the neighborhood.
